Patches Journey

This site chronicles Patches journey through OSA

Will You Remember Me?

Filed under: Uncategorized — careygram at 11:21 pm on Monday, March 28, 2016

I had to do a little tribute to my girl and share.  All of your kind words and thought and support do help somehow.  I feel loved, I feel understood and I feel like I’ll survive.  Not that I feel like I want to at this point.  I’m still in shock.  It will sink in as the days go on.  I will cry a million tears and contemplate buying stock in the Kleenex company.  In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the pictures I am sharing.  It’s therapy.

Thank you,

Xoxo

Oh my look at that LOVE and contentment on sweet patches face in every single one of those pictures! She will never be forgotten for she was an extreme Warrior. RIP sweet girl you have so earned those Angel wings at the bridge where you now run healthy & whole with all our Warriors that went before you. And Oreos too lots and lots of Oreos.

Love and hugs to you ((()))

Thank you for the love and hugs. They are much needed right now. My girl was absolutely a warrior and I know part of her effort was to make me smile. I am glad the love showed on her face and I hope it shone through in my words. Everyone loves their pets, fiercely and I am no different. What I wouldn’t give to see her one more day. I know she’s up there talking to all the other spirit tripawds as they wait for us to come and share the oreos with them.
Thank you Linda for your kind and caring words. They are going a long way today.

Debbie, this is chock full of so much love,so much happiness and so much contentment. Yeah, I was crying the whole way through, but also smiling and feeling such joy for a life so well lived and so well loved.

You have created an absolutely beautiful tribute to your beloved Patches. She is so proud…so proud of you on so many levels!

Debbie, you will soon be able to have all of these beautiful memories you’ve captured here be what starts to heal your shattered heart. Okay, maybe using the word “soon” was a little too optimistic. But the great memories always be with yiu, just like they are with Patches.

Just asyou felt so privileged to have Patches in your life, she felt just as privileged to have you in her life! She DEFINITELY had your name stamped on her Soul the day she came into her earth clothes.

That hoto of Rooster and Patches together towards the end of the video? I’m pretty darn sure Patches is saying, “Thanks Mom and Rooster! I had THE best time!”

Sending you a cyber hug and love from my heart to yours.

Thank you…….thank you so much. I know you all understand how much I love my girl. So many tears but also smiles. It’s hard to be without her. She was truly such a sweet and funny dog. We are all down in the dumps and kind of fumbling along right now. It feels good to share her and our memories with people who love and appreciate them. I still feel as though I got the better end of the deal having her, she gave us all so much. It’s hard to see her pictures and her blankets and stuff without crying and feeling that ache in my heart but i know I’ll get through it. You have been a huge help. Your kind words are priceless.
